First ever conference talk

I had a pretty exciting day today. I did my first ever conference talk at a nice community event in Germany called NRW as part of my job a
Infragistics. The talk was about how to create custom controls for ASP.NET.

It seemed to go pretty well. I was worried noone would turn up by we ended up getting about 30 people. I was a bit nervous at first but I was ok once I got started. I messed up a couple of my demos but the people watching helped me debug my code and I got it all working in the end.

The thing that surprised me most was the real rush I got from the chance to talk to people about something I am so passionate about. It was a really awesome experience and I hope I get to do it again. :)
