Microsoft updates English language – only 62MB

We’d just got home from work and were settling in for a nice bit of internet related procrastination when I heard a yelp of displeasure from Joe. He’d loaded up his machine and got a little message from Windows Vista 64 bit saying that some new critical updates were ready to install:

Fair enough, so he had clicked on the link for KB955020 to see what the important update was:

The words “Friendster,” “Klum,” “Nazr,” “Obama,” and “Racicot” are not recognized when you check the spelling in Windows Vista and in Windows Server 2008

Somehow these five important words translated to a 62MB update!
